About Tracy - My Journey to Celebrancy
The Wedding That Changed Everything
Finally, my partner and I decided it was "now or never" for our wedding. We gave ourselves just seven weeks to pull everything together after securing a cancellation date at the beautiful Wortley Hall in Barnsley. Despite the time pressure and unpredictable British weather, we had the most wonderful day.
But what truly captivated me was our celebrant, Lee. He created the magic that day. He set the tone and scene for our wedding in a way that was just us. I was so enthralled by what he did for us - how he created that special atmosphere, guided the ceremony, and made everything feel perfect.
That experience was imprinted on my mind.
What Drives Me
I truly love meeting new people and discovering the unique stories that bring couples together. When I work with couples, my focus is on creating a space where they feel heard, seen, and celebrated. I take time to connect with them, understand what matters most, and build a ceremony that reflects their truth - not just as individuals, but as a couple.
Authenticity is everything to me. It's such a joy to help couples express their love in a way that's meaningful, relaxed, and completely their own.
My Unique Perspective
Coming from a therapy background means I understand the importance of making people feel comfortable and safe. I know how to help people overcome nerves, whether that's about public speaking or general wedding day anxiety. I can even offer additional support for couples struggling with wedding jitters, drawing on my experience helping people overcome fears and phobias.
My Style
My approach as a wedding celebrant is warm, nurturing, and grounded in timeless tradition - but always with a modern, relaxed feel. I take time to truly get to know each couple, so every ceremony feels deeply personal, heartfelt, and genuine. Whether it's soft and romantic or lighthearted with a touch of humour, I create a space where love is celebrated in a way that's authentic for each couple.
When I'm Not Creating Ceremonies
I love spending time in my garden (weather permitting here in Britain!), watching everything bloom. It ties beautifully into relationships - relationships bloom and grow too, and I love nurturing both my garden and the couples I work with.
I also enjoy walking in the Peak District and through the woodland near our home. I feel quite blessed to live where we can easily access such beautiful natural spaces - it feeds my soul and often inspires the ceremonies I create.
